Welcome to the 2021-2022 New Teacher Orientation (NTO) for Teachers and Special Services Providers!
We are so happy that you have chosen to join our D11 family!
New Teacher Orientation (NTO) takes place over 3 days prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year (Aug 5, Aug 6, and Aug 9).
Your attendance at all 3 days of NTO is a required component of the employee contract.
NTO is provided to ensure new staff are introduced to key leaders who will share both personal and professional content in-service of the employee. Key topics include components of D11’s Strategic Plan and introductions to the technological systems and programs used by all employees in D11.
Professional Learning would like to thank those leaders, facilitators, teachers, instructional technology professionals, and Education Support Professionals providing support and instruction during NTO.
How to Register for NTO? Please review and have in hand the "How do I Register for NTO?" document. Follow the directions to successfully enroll in your mandatory and selected sessions during the 3 days.
Introduction to Webex, Jabber and Blackboard Reach. Will provide overview of all 3 systems and their features. Recommend staff verify that Webex is loaded on their computer before attending and encourage you to download the D11 App and Webex on a mobile device as well.
